Ground Instructor Program Terms
Enrollment and Payment
Tuition is due in full upon application acceptance to complete enrollment.
What Tuition Covers
Tuition covers receiving ground instruction across your track to prepare you for every FAA knowledge test as well as to grow your knowledge to teaching proficiency against your own deficiencies. Your tuition includes the cost of your testing vouchers needed to schedule and take your FAA written exams through PSI. A voucher for an exam is issued once you are endorsed to take it.
Instruction Hours
Core includes up to 90 hours of instruction.
Advanced includes up to 100.
Instruction beyond your track’s included hours is billed at $80 per hour.
Cancellation and Withdrawal
If you withdraw, your refund is the amount paid minus the following:
- Voucher coverage, plus any applicable taxes, is nonrefundable from the time of payment.
- $1,050 for Core
- $1,400 for Advanced
- You may withdraw for a refund through day 14, measured from the date of payment. After day 14 the program is fully nonrefundable regardless of progress.
- Unused instruction hours are nonrefundable.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
Flavored Flight does not guarantee that you will pass any FAA knowledge test or earn the Ground Instructor certificate. Success in the program is directly tied to your effort and your ability to retain the material and demonstrate proficiency.
